“Beautiful and historic post!”
Review of Fort Riley

Fort Riley
Certificate of Excellence
Reviewed August 19, 2013

Fort Riley has several old buildings that are beautiful in their architecture. The 1st Infantry Division Museum, U.S. Cavalry Museum, and The Custer House are all well worth visiting. Surrounding the Cavalry Museum outside are several Military Vehicles, as well as a few Equestrian Statues. Beautiful place to spend a few hour.

The base has excellent services and is excellent at hosting events and including civilians as visitors as though "one of their own" with respect both for the troops who serve and returned in kind by those who serve their country. Thank you.

I lived on Fort Riley for three years while in the Army. This place has a lot of history the buildings are unlike any I have seen at any other military installation giving a sense of history. The place has grown and modernized since I last lived here as well.

Very clean, even if it is full of peopel running in and out. Wide open spaces and history is truly maintained.

Apple days is such a fun event for the community and Ft. Riley to enjoy an event. There is so much to see and do, and it helps when the weather cooperates (as it did this year).
