“Good quality estuary cottage a short drive away from great beaches”
Reviewed September 14, 2016 for a stay in August 2016

Three generations of our family had a lovely holiday here in late August. The cottage provided everything we needed, the kitchen was well equipped so we could cook for six as well as enjoying take aways from the local establishments. We all loved the diverse local beaches all within 15-20 minutes drive and once the younger ones had left we thoroughly enjoyed watching the ever changing estuary views and sunsets from the beautiful master bedroom balcony. Great for photographers and birdwatchers, thanks for providing the binoculars.

“Great location and cosy cottage”
Reviewed August 15, 2016 for a stay in July 2016

We came over for a week holidays with our 6-year old boy to relax, chill-out and discover South Wales. The cottage is very cosy (even better than the pictures), nicely furbished with a great kitchen/living and lots of place to store clothes and luggage.
It is easily reachable with a parking spot in front of the house and very conveniently located to cruise the Gower Peninsula and reach the highlights of South Wales. Despite a typically welsh weather, we had a great week hiking and visiting:
- Cities: Swansea, Cardiff
- Castles: Caerphilly, Cardiff, Cerrag Cennan, Diefwr, Kidwelly, Pembroke
- Beaches: Rhossili, Three-Cliffs-Bay
- Coastal path: Rhossili-Port Eynon (return by bus)
Nothing like having a nice beer on the terrace watching the rising tide with the sunset at the end of the day. We can highly recommend the cottage.

“A very well appointed and spacious cottage”
Reviewed May 17, 2016 for a stay in May 2016

We stayed at Lyndon Cottage for one week and enjoyed it very much. It has a large kitchen and a cosy sitting room. There are two large bedrooms and one smaller. The spacious bathroom has an Italian shower and a bath. The view from the master bedroom is stunning. We enjoyed watching the movement of the tide. We had dinner on the terrace several times. The owners dropped by two times for a friendly chat. We really felt welcome and at home.

“Just like the photos - excellent cottage!”
Reviewed March 25, 2016 for a stay in March 2016

The cottage is exactly as we had expected from the photos and description. Immaculately clean, beautifully planned and very well equipped. The main bedroom at the back is stunning with an expansive view over the estuary. It has a balcony to sit out on and take in the view, but as it was a bit chilly I enjoyed sitting and looking out at the sun setting. So many thoughtful extras, from the welsh cakes, bread and milk on arrival to the basics such as dishwasher tablets, loo rolls etc (too numerous to list!). Carried Cafe (5 minutes walk away) has a bistro night on Fridays which was excellent, as was breakfast on our last day. Thank you Howard, Marilyn and Richard for a fabulous stay. We had glorious weather and loved the Gower Peninsular...some amazing beaches and walks.
