We live in Colorado and have some family in Colby, so we stay overnight usually 3x a year. We've stayed at another "choice hotel" in town, but it was starting to really show its age, so we checked out the "Sleep Inn," which was recently built. As others have said, it's immaculate, they upgraded us (for free) to a very nice suite. The only two 'hiccups,' were, 1) the regular thermostat wasn't working in our room, leaving only the window a/c heat unit and it just never really warmed the room up. (it was a howling wind and cold temps overnight) Hopefully, they'll have the regular t-stat fixed in that room (300) soon. The other issue - we had several things to put in the fridge before we went to bed. In the morning, we were surprised to find them all at 'room temperature,' because the fridge was turned off. I turned it on, but by the time we were checking out, several hours later, it was just starting to get cold. I know they're probably being environmentally conscientious, but a fridge that isn't cold, isn't a fridge, it's just a metal closet with door shelves in it. Seems that this might be a policy they want to revisit. Other than that, the breakfast is typical "choice hotel" fare, but was just fine and, again, the room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. Of course, if you're traveling with kids, the lack of a pool might be a determining factor.
