“Nice change from fast food, while still being fast.”

Traveling from KS to CO and wanted something other then fast food or gas station fare. Took the advice of other reviews and tried this place.

It's in the Quality Inn hotel. We went for lunch on a Monday. It wasn't packed, but a steady stream of patrons came and went. Several seemed to be locals and chatted about the town with the wait staff. I usually consider it a good sign when the locals frequent an establishment.

Decor was...well...you will see. It's not going to win an award for that. Staff was friendly, quick and replenished drinks, chips and salsa timely.

We ate off the lunch menu. Large portions. Couldn't eat it all. Good value for amount. Food came quickly, hot, fresh. Not greasy. Pico de Gallo was good.
Random location, but will visit again when we travel next through Colby.

Our waiter, Rafael, was very personable and gave us plenty of attention. The only reason I gave only 4 stars was the lack of ambience.

Stopped in here on a road trip from CO to KS, didn't want to do the fast food thing. Located off the lobby of a chain hotel, but easy enough to find. Had the special fajitas with chorizo and enchilada special of the day. Very tasty, Fresh poco do gallo, good guacamole.

Generous portions, too much really since we are driving and didn't want to bring along any to go box.

Highly recommend.

Good value, typical Mexican...probably the best place in Colby.

We had lunch there Sept 24th, based on earlier reviews. We were on the way home from Colorado and it was lunchtime. None of the usual fast food outlets in South Colby appealed to us. This restaurant is in the Quality Inn (what was the Holiday Inn in the 1970's). While the hotel needs some maintenance, the restaurant is in fairly good shape, though it won't win any awards for decor. The food was very good, and not overly spicy. The portions were very large. Most importantly for us, the service was extremely fast and the waiter was polite and personable. We were finished with lunch in about 30 minutes!
