This is definitely the best place on Siquijor. We stayed here for 4 nights and didn't wanna leave. The staf and the owner are so kind and helpful. What ever you wanna know or just have a good chat, they will be there and is always so friendly.
The hotel is very beautiful with a big restaurant, really good food, a great pool and nice, comfy rooms.
If we're ever coming back to Siquijor we'll definitely come back to Gold View beach resort.

This hotel is new, beautiful grounds, beautiful building complex, has beach access and a pool, clean room and bathroom. Unfortunately, there is no hot water in the standard room - only in the deluxe rooms which costs more. Unfortunately, too, I was informed by the staff that the "no hot water" was mentioned in the website where I booked the room. However, I didn't notice it - so when we were ready to take a shower the first night, we are in deep shock! No hot water, no amenities. I was shivering after I took a cold water shower! This room costs $50.00 a night - and for Philippine standards - esp. a room without hot water - it is a little expensive. The Manager and staff were very nice and accomodating and I have no complaints with the service. We had to buy a hot water kettle and a pail just so we could have hot water the second night we were there. I told the staff - hot water is a priority. The room was shoddily built - there were gaps in the door - bit enough for insects and small creatures to get into the room - esp. a small snake (God forbid). There was not actually a wall separating the bathroom and commode from the bed but aluminum and glass compartments separating the commode and another for the shower area - and water was just pouring out of the shower stall unto the bedroom floor because there was no seal on the shower door. I'm so sorry I had to give my honest review because the hotel and grounds are beautiful and beautifully landscaped. There is a pool but the water was somewhat cloudy - not sparkling clean. I hope the management could improve on this. And, although a TV in the room is not one of my priorities, Standard rooms don't have it - hot water and TV are only for the deluxe rooms. There is a plus to this hotel - it's beach front, but during low tide, I saw lots of rocks and remnants of coral beds and not very pleasant to walk on. It's a beautiful hotel and it can be improved on with addition of hot water.

Thank you Ma'am for your kind review, greatly appreciated. With all due respect, everything is written on inclusions of this room, you should know that and you should not booked it. Guest have options in selecting rooms, standard is the cheapest(2K on our web) so you cannot expect the inclusions of this room to level up to higher standard, hope you can understand that. Snake? that's exaggeration... you should have told any of the staff or management for that matter of whatever problems you encounter, so the management can sort it out for your comfort, unfortunately, we were not aware of whatever problems you have encountered. The pool? we have set a high standard in the cleanliness of our pool, that's priority and we haven't even seen you around the pool area. You were asking the staff to have a free breakfast as you are a blogger, you threatened to report a bad review of this resort, that's a blackmail. Low tide? what can we say, it's nature, we have to appreciate it, if only we can bulldoze the rocks, we don't want to ruin nature, that's a big NO. Our best wishes to you and hubby and to your friends who are great couple. We wish you all the best.

The staff is extremely accomodating and the service is excellent! Very lovely people. Also the restaurant is one of the very best on siquijor island, excellent food and fast service.
The rooms where a bit dissapionting on the other hand, they are very very basic. They have a dormatory feel to them. No tv, no mini bar, no phone (useful if you would like to use the roomservice witch they claim to provide). Also there is no balcony or veranda so you have nowhere to sit outside. The resort does not provide soap or shampo. WiFi exists but is slow and unreliable. But all this might be better in other more expensive rooms, I stayed in a Standard room rated att 2500 perso per night. The poolarea is pleasant, but something is strange about the pool water, it tastes salty and does not look crystal clear.
I belive thay are newly opened so this small issues might be sorted out in time.
But again GREAT restaurang and GREAT people!

Room Tip: standard rooms are booring, choose a more expensive one if availble

Thank you Sir for your kind review, we greatly appreciate it and it's noted and put forward for consideration for our cheap room @Php2000. We have 4 salt chlorinator machines with 4 pumps and 4 filters for our swimming pool. Clean and hygienic pool is a must in our resort. Pool water will be a bit salty because of the salt chlorinator. Unfortunately, wifi in the island is not 100% fast compared to the wifi in the western world and other countries for that matter, we are sorry for the inconvenience, we are finding ways to improve this and hopefully, the Phil government will find ways too. We did enjoy and miss your company and thank you again and we wish you all the best.
