Review of Bartlett Arboretum

Bartlett Arboretum
Reviewed June 17, 2014 via mobile

Much more than an arboretum, this is a relaxing place any one of any age can enjoy. The garden is lovely year round, the musical events superb and the overall atmosphere one of peace. My 85 year old dad has been going here for 75 years ( whenever it has been open) and my twin 2 year old grandsons are now big fans, too.
Check the website or call before you visit, the arboretum is only open "for special events, by appointment or by accident".

The Bartlett Arboretum is located about 30 minutes south of Wichita, KS. The Arboretum was created in 1910 by the Bartlett family and was recreated by Robin Macy and friends starting in 1999. The Arboretum hosts the largest variety of trees in Kansas as well as the beautiful flower gardens that adorn the walkways and lake.
Robin and her Soil Sisters host a wide variety of musical events in the spring and summer as well as a large number of interesting "hands on" educational opportunities - from Songwriting, Beer Brewing, Beekeeping, Mosaics to Photography.
Check out the full schedule of activities and events at www.BartlettArboretum.com
The Art at the Arb weekend was a real treat of art and music. Bring your camera!!!!
