“ABSOLUTELY RELAXING !”
Reviewed April 19, 2010

Home away from Home. My husband and me with our son spent two nights and three days at Vedic village resort which we loved . Our thanks to Mr.Sabu Joseph and his entire team who made us feel extremely comfortable. The food as well needs a special mention as it was delicious and served well.
A rather quiet resort worth it to totally unwind . A nice swimming pool and a wonderful boatride through the backwaters to watch the sunset added to the enjoyable experience. And ofcourse the Ayurvedic massage made it a completely relaxing holiday. The ever helpfull staff was always ready to help, be it transportation, ticket confirmations, sightseeing or even take time off for a chat.
Thankyou Mr. Joseph, Mr. Renjith and your team.

Vedic Village Resorts is the place if you just want to relax and enjoy the beauty of Kerala. The decently built huts face the backwaters and the rooms are very well done. The staff is very concerned and does its best to make you enjoy the stay. If you are a North Indian, they are sensitive to your tastes too! The resort offers speed motorboating which is very thrilling and takes you till the Arabian sea. The approach from the main road is a bit congested but that is not what should bother you. Rather, it gives a feel of the daily life of Keralites.

My girlfriend and I had a fantastic time at Vedic Village, Kerala. Sabu Joseph and his staff were were very friendly, but also very sensitive to our privacy and provided lots of nice little touches that made our stay very special. The place itself is very tranquil, and the surroundings are quite beautiful. I would recommend Vedic Village to anyone visiting Kerala.

I don't have words to explain about how we felt staying in the Vedic Village Resorts. It was wonderful, excallent......WOW that was the best of Kerala. I could probably give 5 more stars on the location, service and value. It is located in a place where tourists generally don't go in Kerala. It gives you a remote feeling. We have experianced actual Kerala...the village, the river and the peacefullness of the place. It was absolutely quiet and enchanting place. Go there only if you are looking for visiting actual Kerala and above all the peace of mind.......THANK YOU MR. JOSEPH FOR CREATING SUCH A WONDERFUL PLACE AND THANK YOU MR. RENJITH NAIR FOR GIVING US THE BEST OF THE SERVICES TO MAKE US FEEL LIKE KING IN THE KING'S NEST.

The Vedic Village Resort was absolutely beautiful! The peaceful surroundings were a lovely change after the noise and traffic in North India. The resort is extremely pretty, overlooking the river and surrounded by coconut trees. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the rooms were of a very high quality. The food was excellent and the candlelit evening meals were extra special. I only wish we were there for longer than just 2 nights. I would definitely like to go back in the near future and would highly recommend it to friends and family.

I would like to recommend highly the services of Vedic Resort to everyone reading this article. Vedic Resort is highly beautiful, luxurious and for a couple on a honeymoon, this was the most beautiful highlight of our trip.

We stayed at the Queen's Nest and the rooms were absolutely delightful. The rooms afforded enough privacy and we had a good time, just the two of us frolicking away to glory. We checked in at 4 p.m, and were escorted to our rooms by the staff who were helpful and courteous. Immediately thereafter, we went for the 1-Hr boat ride which took us right out to the Arabian Sea. The views were marvellous, the sun setting in the shadows of a gleaming sea setting the waters on fire.

We just enjoyed the sea birds waiting for us on the piers of the sea, and taking off in a majestic flight as if being released on the Independence Day. After watching the moon set, we returned to the privacy of the hotel and freshened up. Then it was time to explore
the property, and we soon found ourselves entering the pool:)

After an hour or so, we felt ravenously hungry. Dinner was served in front of the rooms, in the setting of a candlelit dinner and we had eyes only for eachother as we enjoyed the stars shining in the sky and explored the stars in eachother's eyes.

Soon, it was time to rest in the hammocks and enjoy the cool air providing a perfect romantic setting. Afterwards, we turned in, perfectly satisfied with what I would describe as perfect value for money. Go, grab your space at this resort.......and please share your experiences! A very special thanks to Renjith Nair, Francis and all the staff who made our stay special and provided us 5-star comfort.

Ciao, sayonara, best of luck.....!

We stumbled on this hotel by chance and were so glad we did. The welcoming reception, the beautiful setting and the huge lengths everyone went to to ensure that we had everything we needed. We spent a magical Christmas Eve, relaxing in the hammocks and dining under the stars. It is a wonderful end to our holiday. In fact we loved it so much that I have already booked a return trip in March 2010 - I can't wait to see Mr Joseph and the team again!
