Mustards is a great casual restaurant. The prices are reasonable, the cuisine is tasty, and the service is prompt without being oversolicited. The chicken is absolutely delicious, as are the sandwiches and pizza. What I really like, though, is the fact that families and large groups can eat here without impacting the dining experience of couples. There are several restaurants I do not visit because they are beautiful places with horrible acoustics. How many of us have had a meal ruined because of the screaming toddlers in the next booth, or the swearing of the football fans over at the bar? I have never had that problem here, no matter how busy it gets. Sure, there is background noise, but that is it. Background noise does not interfere with your own table talk. The bar is in a separate room from the main dining room, which solves the problem of rouwdy bar-goers vs. families and daters. If I could change one thing, it would be the system of ordering. The counter service works well for initial orders, but for those of us who want to order something extra after we get our main entree it can be a bit awkward. Other than that, this place is great!
