Food is always good but a bit expensive, but not so much that it would keep me from eating there. The molasses cookie is worth going all by itself.

Oh my goodness this place is fantastic. I went on a Friday at 11:30 for lunch and it was so busy. It was however very fast service. I had what they call a "box lunch". I did a half sandwich instead of the full. There were close to 20 different deli type sandwiches to choose from. I got the Turnberry. It came with a pickle, 4oz. salad(pasta, veg, ect), chips, brownie or cookie, and pop. It is served in a cafeteria style in that your sandwich comes on a tray and you walk through a line adding your sides. Real gem! I can't wait to return.

Ah, Palmer's. You walk in...the wrong door, you wend your way through the sort of paths between the tables, you get in line...sort of....

Let's start over. Palmer's has counters. There's usually a more definitive line at the Sandwich counter than any other. You'll need to navigate the world of people at the Soup and Salad counters that are standing there as if in line, but have either A) ordered already or B) don't know what they want, so you should go first.

Salads come in various sizes, they have examples on the counter for you to know size. The 4 oz may seem small, but if you're getting several, or dense salads, it's not really that small. The salad people don't mark whether you got meat or non-meat salads, so it's up to you to inform the cashier what you got, not the specific salads, just their sizes and meat or non-meat. Grab your bottled beverage from the coolers near the register, or just let the cashier know you want a fountain drink and you can grab your own cup by the fountain area after paying.

This food is fresh, generally much healthier than fast food, and with the prices increases we've seen in fast food, it's competitive. Desert is on your way to the registers if your entree is too healthy. Their deserts are damn good. Everything is good.

The staff is generally good at recognizing your confused look, but I wouldn't say in general that they're overly friendly. They're not unfriendly by any means, but I think it's likely almost as chaotic for them as it is for the customers, so their patience may be worn a little thin.

If you can handle the stress of navigating their delivery system, you'll get to eat, and learn to love Palmer's.

A typical sandwich shop with a lot of hoopla. The food is average at best. The portions are overly exaggerated as well as the prices. I can take it or leave it
