It was our first visit in Webster City and we have stayed at Executive Inn and you know what? I'll never try any other place up there in the future. Hotel is clean, upgrated. Rooms are nice, spacious and comfortable with TV, Fridge, Microwave and real keys. Staff was very friendly, they treat us like family. Next time, visiting Webster City, we'll stay in Executive Inn.

We were very pleasantly surprised at the service and cleanliness and roominess of the hotel. It was well decorated, and the beds were very comfortable, which makes a stay great. The hosts were friendly and just like family. We will definitely stay there the next time we come to the Webster area.

we have stayed at the Executive Inn in Webster City Iowa many times over the last 10 years or so. We stay there because we have smokers in the family and the Inn has smoking rooms. We were pleasantly surprised with the trip because the Inn is beginning to upgrade and paint and re-carpet the rooms and they are doing a great job. I don't know how many rooms have been re-done to date, but the makeover looks great. Looking good. best of luck to the new owners.

The Executive Inn is an older holtel, but is locally owned and operated by its owners who have clearly put a lot of TLC into the property. Prepare for real keys for the room and a taste of the past of hotel stays, but also prepare for great service, kind and knowledgeable hosts and a clean, spacious room.

It's a bit off of Hwy 20, which with construction required a bit of a drive compared to the chain hotels on the highway, but for the savings, it was worth it. Breakfast was free, ample and filling and the owners of this hotel were able to direct us to a park so the kids could burn off energy before getting back in the car for more driving!

You could spend $90 to stay the night in Webster City, but why? Give your pocketbook a vacation, too and stay here instead!

I have stayed at the Executive Inn, Webster City, for a number of years because it had spacious rooms, was inexpensive, centrally situated and quiet. However it got to be a bit run down of late.
In a recent trip I was surprised to learn that the motel had new owners who ave seriously upgraded the facility. They have replaced old counter tops with granite. They have replaced the aging shower/tub units with new modern facilities. They have freshened up the large rooms with new paint. The place was transformed!
The office are was enlarged and the breakfast room is re-arranged to make it less crowded and more inviting.
The new owners have done this without rising the price - it is almost half of the more expensive motels.
The Executive Inn is like "coming home". I recommend this motel highly for a good nights sleep at rates that won't break the bank.

I had a very nice stay here while working in Webster City. The motel is a large 2-story place from the early '70s, run by a nice Eastern European couple. It seemed to be the place to stay for contractors, since the lot was full of trucks. While I checked in, the wife went to turn the heater on in my room. The rate was very good, just $55, including tax.
For that money, I got a large, clean room. The furnishings were fairly new, and while not the fanciest, they were clean and comfortable. I had a fridge and microwave, along with the standard TV. The bathroom was clean, and had a full tub. The fixtures were probably original, but the outside vanity/sink was a new granite counter.
The motel will do laundry for $5/load. I didn't get mine back folded, but the husband washed a huge bag of dirty clothes and only charged me for one load. There is a pool table in the lower lobby, and there may at one point have been an actual pool (I found an abandoned staircase down to a basement level, but it was gated off.). For the money I paid, this was much better than even the cheapest chain would give you.
