This hotel is on the edge of a large shopping center, and there were plenty of shopping and chain restaurants available nearby. The hotel was surprisingly modern inside and looked recently updated. The king room was spacious and comfortable, but lacked an easy chair. Staff was friendly. Great hotel for the business traveler.
As always - This Hampton in was spotlessly clean and welcoming. Staff was very nice , quick check in and room was flawless. Nice to know that all bedding is stripped and washed each time the rooms are rented to new guests.
I used the Hampton Inn to get to Wartburg College in Waverly, a short drive away. The hotel is located just off the main highway through Waterloo, close to a very good shopping mall with restaurants in every direction, a convenient drug store and anything one might need while traveling. The hotel is CLEAN, makes an immediate good impression, and the friendly staff at the reception desk will look after your needs. This is the fourth time I have stayed there, and my positive impression is not in danger - consistency is its hallmark. The rooms are clean and good sized. The breakfast buffet is typical for Hamptons, with a very good variety from fresh fruit to yogurt, to pancakes, oatmeal, eggs and so on. The staff watches, and makes sure that nothing runs out. Wi-Fi is included. I've no hestiation in recommending this fine Hampton Inn. Oh, yes, the beds are comfortable, and the bathroom works.
We just spent a super night at the Hampton Inn in Waterloo, Iowa. We had a 2 queen bed suite with a pull out. Oversized room, great beds, great water pressure and very clean! It is obvious the staff takes great pride in their work! From the moment we checked in until we left the next day, we had great service, great breakfast and just a wonderful stay! Pool area was also very neat and tidy. We are very picky about our motels and had never stayed in a Hampton Inn. We will definately stay again!
I enjoyed the friendly staff and convenient location of the Waterloo Hampton Inn. The breakfast was a bit lean if you are trying to eat healthy and gluten free but there was a nice assortment of fruit and Greek yogurt. Internet service was spotty but passable as long as you were patient.
Great hotel, beds very comfy and the staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast had many choices and even though the breakfast area was very busy, there were still plenty of choices and plenty of food.
