Mama Nicks is a longtime established resturant in Waterloo. For many years it has been known for its pizzas, and homestyle food. The resturant offers a menu full of items with generous serving sizes that will gurantee that you will not leave hungry. Along with the menu the resturant has a small buffet that features salads, pizza, homemade cassaroles, meatloaf, and chicken, mashed potatoes, along with cake or pie for desert. The whole resturant still maintians that family run feel to it. The staff is always friendly and curtous.
The downside is that the price is a little high, but it is well worth the extra few dollars compared to the standard "rubber stamp" resturant chains. The resturant only sits a few feet (yes I do mean feet) away from a multi lane highway. (I believe it was origionally slated to be demolished, but somehow the resturant was saved from highway construction) You can occasionally hear a semi roll past, and would be weary of pulling out of the resturant onto this busy highway (use the back road enterance/ exit)
Overall the great food outweighs these minor negatives. Definately one of the best pizzas in Waterloo.
