One of my all-time favorites is chicken fried steak. In fact I like to try it at every new restaurant I go to. So I tried it Bev's it was fantastic. First the steak was very tender. The breaking was cooked to a nice golden brown and it was crispy. The real mashed potatoes and steak was topped off with an excellent pepper gravy. The gravy had a unique slite golden color I guess to present that "chicken" dripping gravy look and taste. It came with choice of side and I chose the clam chowder which was ok. Great value at $10.50. On a side note another in our group had the ice berg lettuce with creamy blue cheese wedge and absolutely loved it.
