Pella doesn't have much in terms of unique restaurants, but El Charro is locally run and is our favorite when we stop in Pella during long distance trips. The place does a steady business and it has a relaxed atmosphere. The food is reliably good, but it won't blow you away. The flan is made fresh every day and, therefore, inconsistent but, on our last visit, it was as good as any we have tasted anywhere.
If you are in Pella, rather than eating at a national chain, try El Charro.
