Good wait staff. Got there before the rush on Saturday. Beer samplers were fun to try...kind of interesting. Menu fairly diverse. Enjoyed thinly sliced onion rings as a table appetizer.!!

Two family units (4 adults, one teen) went for dinner. Not busy at 630 pm on Friday, long bar devoid of patrons, most tables full. Server initially seemed disinterested, gradually warmed slightly as we bantered with her a bit. Their house beers were not to my taste, but the other customers enjoyed the Blackberry Brandy Porter. I'm used to traditional porters (to men, this one tasted like cough syrup), but beers are like cars and significant others- beauty in beholder's eye. The guest beer, Mill Street IPA was a decent option. Server was reluctant to give out splash of house beers to taste, very unlke any other brew-pub type venue I've visited.

Ordered a NY Strip, good quality, but under seasoned. Burgers were appropriately juicy, and more than large enough at 1/2 #. Mushroom struedel appetizer was acceptable. Onion soup excessively salty. The big winner was the chicken teriyaki Sammy - nice teriyaki flavor w/o being sticky / sickeningly sweet. Desert ordered by the others was chocolate tower. Top layer was tough, almost like freezer burnt or stale. Bottom layer soft, ganache was really hard. Not a stellar offering.

Three entrees, three beers, no deserts on our tab was $55. A bit too high for what we got. Not likely to revisit until we've tried other joints in town.

Service was great. Food was great. Family friendly (we took our 8 year old for lunch). And beer was good. So nice to find a brewpub in this little town. We will be back!

The restaurant has tried to make it look old in an older part of town and that part works. The food was average with but pricey, I will not go back.
