We stayed in the two-bedroom cottage, which at £95 / night is an absolute bargain, with much more space than you'd usually get in an equivalent bed & breakfast. As well as the two bedrooms, there was a spacious living room and a small kitchen/diner (although there's a fridge, you wouldn't want to try and cook here yourself - the only appliances are a kettle and a toaster). Breakfast was freshly cooked, the veggie cooked breakfast consisted of 2 eggs, mushrooms, fresh tomato, and fried bread (plus toast & cereals). Not too far from Lincoln, and a quiet countryside location.

My wife and I stayed 1 night at the Lincolnshire Poacher on 20th August and were made very welcome. A lovely little mews cottage in the pub yard and great food served in the pub itself. The breakfast was delicious and served in the cottage. Ideal place and we certainly intend staying again. Pippa was very friendly .

Stayed at The Lincolnshire Poacher Inn for four nights and it was excellent. The pub is situated in a very quiet village which is really nice, the village has the usual local shops..ie newsagents, butchers, a couple of pubs and an Indian and Chinese restaurant. The accomodation was a cottage adjacent to the pub and had ample private parking. The hosts Pippa and Mark were brilliant, Pippa brought over our breakfasts in the morning and this was freshly cooked and tasty (on a couple of mornings this was eaten outside in lovely sunshine). The food in the pub was really nice, a varied menu with food that was well cooked and presented by Mark. Both hosts worked really hard and Pippa was so friendly it was a pleasure to be in the pub, no matter how busy she was she always managed a bit of a chat and included us when she was talking to the locals who were in the pub. All in all a very nice and relaxed stay, thank you both so much....we WILL be back.

Stayed in this excellent B&B at the end of July for two nights in our own courtyard cottage which was very clean, comfortable and well equipped, and special requests were no problem and very promptly dealt with - turned out relations had booked the other cottage, so instead of the expected 2 of us for dinner the Poacher ended up with 10 of us, and the dinner and service were superb. Loved the (choice of ) breakfast delivery to our cottage A+. Thank you Pippa and Mike

Stayed in number one and everything the other reviewer said was true but personally I didn't feel that it mattered as I can sit and watch telly at home, it's not what I go away to do. The oweners were delightful going out of their way to help and accommodate a vegetarian that hates mushrooms!
Please not the large kitchen does not have an oven.
