lots of bamboo huts on the lakeside where you can enjoy delicious thai food here. many restaurants to choose , so hope you get the best taste.
mine is general, but the chicken wing is delicious.
price not too expensive.

i experience this kinda thing in loei, but there they using bamboo raft so you can go in the middle of the lake, not just sitting nearby.

some people do swimming around.
and some sleeping after they eat.

its nice to escape from the city life and just enjoy the silence and the view

if you dont your own vehicle, can rent from the red songthaew and they can waiting for you there.
theres ticket price to go inside, 50B / foreigner

Great place to spend time relaxing besides this beautiful location located in Mae Rim, the lake is vast, you will find people fishing on one side of the lake whilst on the other side there are many places to eat great local food, there are small locally made bamboo structures where you can sit and relax to eat your food, there is a small entry fee of 20 Baht per adult which is well worth it. After lunch you can can a relaxing walk around the lake, there is plenty of parking available, free of charge, if you want you can take your own food and have a picnic, but make sure that you take all your rubbish home with you

Relaxing views of the lake and delicious lunch serve in this little but comfortable houses. I was eating traditional local food with silk bugs and little alive prawns. Really recommended location to escape of stress.

So quit so nice, so relaxing. If you hear a car, maybe, it would be a wonder. The only thing you hear are the people around, but nod partying or loud music, no just talking. Most of them are here for relaxing.

A lot of little bamboo “houses” in front of the water, (on the water) you can sit in and just relaxing.

Entry to the lake area: 50 Baht

The water is “dirty”. I mean not full of trash, not that dirty, it’s just dirty of the nature. So not good and also nod allowed to swim there..
