Made a point of visiting the town of Neapoli to see the cathedral, and was not disappointed, the building architecture is splendid. The cathedral stands back from the main street/square in town in a large paved area within it's grounds, there is also a small church and statue here.
Fortunately a young man came to open up the doors so was lucky to get to see inside as well.
Would recommend you pay a visit to see this attraction, then have a little wander around the town.
