This charming B&B, located right on the Mississippi River, is comfy and cozy. It is also the home of the very friendly and kind innkeepers, Roger and Connie, who run the winery down the street (free tastings, pretty good wines, very good prices). They provide each guest room with a small complimentary bottle of their wine good for sipping on the deck. In the morning, Connie fixes a four course breakfast, which was delicious and filling. You eat at a set time with all of the other guests (max of about 8-10), so be prepared to be social first thing in the morning. For us 30-somethings, the whole place had the feeling of staying at your grandparent's house, which is a good thing and a bad thing. You are certainly provided privacy, but the family photos on the guest room walls and the family VHS tapes spread around were a little more intimate than I'm used to. If you're ok with more interaction with the innkeepers and guests than many B&Bs, I would highly recommend the Eagles Landing. We would be happy to stay there again!
