We spent 4 days in a Chalet facing the ocean in August and really wished we had stayed longer. The location is quiet and lovely, the beach is idyllic. The owners have been very helpful and eager to accommodate us, providing the cot and high chair we needed for our baby. We highly recommend this place.More

We loved the location, in a beautiful tropical garden by the beach. The reef keeps the big waves at bay and we could snorkel and see the most beautiful fish, especially in the afternoon.
Brigitte is a delight. She is so knowledgeable and bright, willing and able to offer advice and suggestions. All the staff were friendly and worked really well from Jean-Pierre and the garden and facilities team to front of house.
We loved the birdsong, the sound of the waves, the chalet, everything. We'd come back at the first opportunity.
The south east of the island is fantastic. You could get by without a car but we went to Pirates and they were good so we could get around the whole island easily.
Really recommend the professional team and liked that this is a well-run family business. We felt comfy and 'at home'. It was our honeymoon.
They are also 10/10 for diversity-this is an LGBTI place.

We stayed here for 1 week and were quite happy with our choice. The location is great. The South of Mahé is quiet, less busy than the rest of the island.
The beach and reef in front of the chalets are great for snorkeling. The gorgeous Anse Intendance is just a 10 min drive away. We went there every day, it is simply the best beach ever.
The chalets are very well managed, clean an well equipped. There is all you need for a great holiday.
The owner reminded us several times that they are not an hotel and do not offer any hotel services. ( eg we asked if they could keep our luggage because our flight was late, but the owner just said "no" without looking for another solution).
So if you chose to stay at the Chalets d'Anse Forbans do not expect hospitality. This is not there unfortunately. It is instead a perfectly managed holiday / house renting "machine". Acknowledging this, we still had a great time and enjoyed our stay.

Thank you for your lovely review on our property and we are very pleased you felt you made the right choice to spend the week exploring the Seychelles whilst staying with us. You are right we did point out we do not offer a 24 hour desk as we are a self catering establishment. And to state we do not offer you hospitality is most unkind of you. We arranged your taxi transfer on arrival, which you walked right passed and took a car hire. When you complained you had a back issue and could not carry your bags from your car to your chalet, we called our staff off lunch to help you. And on departure we called someone to your room to help you once again. We even placed extra mattress toppers on your bed to help you feel more comfortable and checked on you afterwards to ensure you were indeed more comfortable. We helped you arrange excursions and the reason you felt we were not hospitable to you, is the fact we would not store your luggage till 21:00hours. We did indeed offer various solutions but none of these were suitable to you. If you had in fact given us all your flight information when we requested, we could have pre-arranged all this prior to arrival.

This year I attended an unforgettable place in the Seychelles! If you are tired of city life, you need to come to Chalet d'Anse Forbans! Quiet and peaceful place to relax with a beautiful view of the ocean. The staff is very nice and friendly. Helped in everything what I needed. Highly recommend! I hope once again to visit this place!

The bungalows are just a few steps from an incredible beach. The suites feel like home, with the kitchen and sitting area. It has air conditioning, is super clean and comfortable. Just know that you need a car or transportation as it is hard to walk on the narrow road. It was perfect!

The chalets are very clean and well taken care of. The location is fantastic.
All the stuff was always very friendly and helpful.
We felt comfortable through our whole stay.
The beach is beautiful and the ocean wonderful for swimming and snorkeling (when the tide is high).
