“Beautiful Place, Full of Memories BUT BRING THE COOKED SUSHI BACK”
Reviewed February 25, 2013

I love the Co-Op! My positive memories of Iowa City will always include this great store, with great staff and a great selection. From the fresh baked pastries, to the organic and exotic produce, it's my favorite food shop in Iowa City.

My only complaint is that they stopped making Sushi with cooked meat. The cooked Tuna and Salmon was deelish, and always sold out - but when I asked the Sushi chef in Coralville - he said it wasn't a popular item (yeah right...) BRING THE COOKED SUSHI BACK

But the coop still has me coming back for more, even though they don't have my fav sushi anymore.

“Nice Organic Grocery Store”
Reviewed December 17, 2012

The only organic store in the area and the prices are very reasonable! There is a surcharge if you are not a member but the surcharge is very small!

“Expensive, but good.”
Reviewed December 12, 2012

There is a HUGE selection and they don't make you buy huge packages. I like cooking and if ever there is an obscure ingredient, I know I can find it here.

“Great Produce, No Preaching”
Reviewed November 28, 2012

It's very nice to find a local market that features wholesome foods and doesn't preach about veganism or the food bugaboo of the day. The produce is very fresh and the 5:00 shop is very appealing. The store also features grass fed beef and flash frozed seafood. My biggest gripe is that for all the money they charge, they can use plyers to remove the bones from their salmon. I can get over that.
