Nettie's was a huge disappointment. As one of the few restaurants in town that serves scooped ice cream, we were looking forward to eating lunch there. However, the food we ordered seemed slapped together out of packages or straight out of a food service vending machine. There wasn't anything interesting about the menu - standard fare any teenager or babysitter could prepare - nothing that stood out as interesting or particularly tasty.
There were so many flies, we were distracted from eating our meals and concerned about food safety. You have to order at the counter, then sit down and wait for your meal to be delivered on plastic trays. We waited quite a while before we realized our sandwiches were given to a different table. Although they made up the meal for us (again) when we reported the error, the service staff didn't seem to have the cajones to confront/address the error with the table who accepted our order.
We're never going to bother going back to Nettie's again for lunch... we would only go back if we want ice cream... and the fly population has gone down.
