Before Victories, meeting places outside work were very limited. Victories is a charming place to enjoy their several happy hours and full menu! Victories also has a wonderful coffee and gift shop. One negative point would be, the staff can be slow at times and seem to lack knowledge of the establishment.

We were family from 3 different states in this part of Iowa for a funeral. Not too many choices in this small town, but the desk person at the motel we were staying at, said we might like Victories. It was a quiet night as the local college was not in session. My dish, pulled pork, was really tasty, and portion was very generous. All others in our party gave positive food reviews and all had ample/generous portions. The main dining room was not open since it was a quiet night but I did go upstairs to look. Atmosphere very pleasant, kitchen open to diners and all looked pristine . Downstairs where we ate was largely a sports bar-type setting with numerous screens tuned to sports, but it was not crowded( space wise), and we had a table near the window. Pleasant space.

New restaurant. Great layout with pool table/bar area and upstairs with expansive dining room. Also had balcony / street side seating. Some of the best food we've eaten in a very long time...could not believe this eating/drinking option was available in Fayette Prices were reasonable, selection was great..and they had a nice drink/wine menu as well. Well appointed place with friendly staff and great open view kitchen to see where all the magic happens. We were with family and it was a great experience for all. They even give the kids crayons and allow them to draw on tables that are covered in butcher paper. Would definitely go back again.

There is a new restaurant in Fayette on S. Main St. and it is the best for 50 miles around. Downstairs is a sports bar and upstairs a more formal dining room. The food ranges from casual bar food to great salads and full meals. It also features local beers.
There is an elevator and deck overlooking Main St.
