Museum had very nice content - a mix between aquarium and museum. A bit pricy - plan to spend several hours as they have 2 buildings. Nice kids area.

As a teacher I did find it very educational and interactive and would love to take a group of students there. The museum and aquarium was nice but the $75 price tag for a family of five was a bit much. Also, I didn't like to having to go outdoors to leave one building to the other. It's fine for the summer but not so much when it's cold and winter outside. Personally, it left me with a been there, done that sort of feeling.

The aquariums were fun; well-prepared and well-executed displays. You can spread your visit over two days for one admission price. A great setting, with inside and outside displays. Probably not going to fascinate small children. Claims to have wifi available, but never could get a usable connection.

I was surprised by the high quality of this museum and the interactive exhibits, mixed with fish/animal exhibits. There are 3 buildings and a ship you can tour. I recommend starting in the Woodward Discovery Center, as this building focuses more on the fresh water rivers. The Fred W. Woodward building focuses on ships, including a boat shop and blacksmith shop. You can then go outside into the boat yard and tour the Dredge Boat the have in the port. The Diamond Jo Center focuses on the rivers meeting the ocean. There are several salt water tanks in this building. I learned so much here.
