Just a great set-up for families. Rooms are good sized, there's a fridge and a microwave in the room which comes in very helpful and the water park isn't huge but keeps the kids entertained after being in the car all day. Even the food at the restaurant is reasonably priced and good. Location is very good as well--close to highways, restaurants and shopping malls.

Rooms aren't super modern but small point. I wouldn't stay here if I was traveling on business but if going with kids, this is the place to stay.

Room Tip: They charge extra for poolside and not worth the premium. The walk to the pool is trivial from ever...

Thank you for choosing our hotel for some family fun time. Please keep us in mind for any future needs or if you just need some more family time! We do have over 8000 sq ft of meeting space and sections of the hotel more suited for the business traveler.

We stayed October 16th and 17th after reading the reviews on Trip Advisor. This is a fun place for the kids about 10 and under.
At check-in, the gentleman that checked us in was brash, with no personality and lacked professionalism. I was in such a hurry to get away from his negativity, I left the keys to the room on the front desk and he didn't even notice.
The room is a nice, family oriented room. Nice beds and nice bathroom. The fridge and microwave are a great addition for the traveling family.
Now onto the not so nice. When you add families who don't give a darn about what your teenagers do, you get girls screaming and gabbing and running down the hallway and outside until 1:30am. We called the front desk once and a lady down the hall did as well as we could hear her yell at the girls. Calling the front desk didn't get us anywhere and was the worst nights sleep I ever had since a hotel at the Rochester, NY airport where the landing strobe light was outside my 3rd floor room. Sound carries here really well and you can hear everything! The second night was a Sunday night and we slept much better. I suggest management consider hiring a weekend security guard from about 10pm-2am to keep the peace and quiet.
The kids had a great time at the pools. My kids are 3 and 5, when the pool area is crowded you must keep an eye on your kids the entire time. There were too many unsupervised 8 year old to teenagers who didn't care a little one was near. It gets old trying to warn older kids to be careful and their careless parents just glare at you in return. To the credit of the staff there, once they saw me getting on the older kids cases for jumping into the pool onto a smaller kid, they caught on and really hounded the older ones. Sunday night was great, it was less crowded and the parents were more attentive to their own children.
The hotel is a good value. I would say a large portion of the clientele are different than what you would get at a Great Wolf Lodge. The parents just don't seem to care as much or be respectful. We would stay again, but only during the week.

We celebrated our son's 6th birthday party here and we had an amazing time! The entire facility was neat and clean, the rooms were huge! Don't forget the indoor Waterpark! It was fun for all ages of kids (5 thru 12) as well as us adults! Great value for room and waterpark passes! And despite having a poolside room, the noise level was low (we were there on a Friday night with several birthday parties going on) and we didn't have any trouble sleeping. Had a blast and will definitely be back!

Thank you for choosing our hotel for the birthday celebration. Fridays are a great time for these events as although our Fridays are busy, they are not as busy as our Saturdays. Very pleased you had a good time and am looking forward to serving you in the future...

Glad your family had a pleasant stay. We do focus on the safety of all of our guests and because the youngsters seem to like to gather at times in the spa, I have our pool attendants / guards turn off the bubbles on the weekends so they can visually monitor the spa bottom. With a group of kids in the spa with the bubbles on, we cant see the bottom...

We stayed over one night and rented a suite for 7 of us. It was large and very nice. Kids only on the sofa sleeper though....We had to drag the kids out of the water. Great value and good time.

Thank you for your kind words regarding your stay. I understand the "dragging the kids out of the pools" comment. Having an office with windows both facing the lobby and the water park, I witness some of those challenges. During check in, I see the enthusiasm / excitement on the kids faces when they enter the water park. I really enjoy that! Sometimes seeing them leave though isnt so enjoyable as they are not as enthusiastic about going out the door as they were coming in. At least I know they had a good time...

Thanks again for choosing our hotel...

We recently stayed at the Ramada Tropics Resort on a trip to take my son to college. We had driven over 10 hours that day. Check-in was easy and the desk staff very kind. WE were in a room with two comfortable queen beds. It was a very spacious room with a small microwave and refridgerator, big flat-screen TV and free wi-fi. There was a good-sized safe in our room that held both of our laptops. The bathroom was very big, but the towels were kind of small, especially those available at the pool.
The pool area was a lot of fun and there is a tiki bar right there for the adults. There are rooms surrounding the pool and I'm not sure how much noise you would get from the pool area if you were there. I would have been leary to have one of those.
We had dinner at the Castaway Bar and Grill. We were a little later in the evening and service was a bit slow, but the food was very good. It was nice to not have to get in the car again and drive somewhere to eat. There was also a room-service menu in our room.
It is right on the interstate, so we heard a little traffic noise. There is a business center.

Room Tip: Request a room on the side of the hotel not next to the interstate.

My young family stayed here for the first time because we wanted to use the indoor waterpark. It was a lot of fun. Something for everyone to do at any age. Our room was super clean, updated and the bathroom was spacious and my kids thought it was awesome :) The rate is so unbelievably reasonable and we will definitely stay again and refer to others that may be in the area.
