Stopped here while visiting my family in Iowa. The burger selections are overwhelming, it was so hard to pick one because they all sounded super yummy. Overall the food was quite delicious, it greasy - however that usually makes the burger quite tastey! The zombie theme throughout the restaurant bar was fun - this place sure does get packed quick!

We go to Iowa every Thanksgiving to visit family and have made the trek to Zombie Burger the last 5 years.

The decor is rocking, and the menu is something to behold. I like the variety and theme. It's not somewhere you should be going if you're on a strict diet, but ya gotta live a little, right?

We've NEVER had a wait under 30 minutes as it's always full. We've tried to go at weird times to no avail, so be prepared for a wait.

We usually get milkshakes (mmmmm good) and share an order of fries between 2 or 3 people. The burger will fill you up.

I've tried La Horde, the Undead Elvis, and another one I can't remember right now, but it's Elvis all the way for me,. Delish!

Anyway, try it out. You likely won't be disappointed. We'll be going back!

A word of warning, if you're on a date, you'll be gorging on a burger like a pig. Make sure you can do that in front of your significant other! This place kicks butt!

Like the title says--the atmosphere and staff are great, but we found the food to be just average.

We went on a cold December night and thought the heat must be out, because the place was FREEZING--especially at a table near the window.

Our server was very prompt and super personable. The menu was very, very large and diverse.

We started with the fried brussels sprouts--a very generous portion of very well done sprouts served with a great, spicy ('zombie') sauce. I'm a big brussels sprouts fan, so we really couldn't go wrong, but truth be told the main attraction was the fact that we'd never had them fried before. Aside from the novelty of trying something new, they were pretty run of the mill.

We had a heck of a time picking a burger, since there 27 interestingly named and unique varieties to choose from.

While quick service is usually a good thing, we were a little dismayed to receive our burgers roughly 4 minutes after having received our appetizer. All of the food was brought by a runner, and obviously not 'timed' in order that guests can enjoy what they've already ordered. Tip: don't bother ordering an appetizer because you won't have time to eat it. If you feel like you really have to order an app, don't order your entree until you've already finished it.

Our burgers were disappointing, to be honest. While they came dressed exactly as we ordered them, we found them to be seriously lacking in flavor. I'm not sure why that might be, but the meat was unremarkable and all of the toppings (including blue cheese!) just sort of all tasted...eh...and bland.

The portion sizes were good, and the beer selection was great.

We'll give it another try when in town again, just to make sure we didn't choose the two worst burgers on the menu...but overall, first impressions resulted in a 'cool vibe, so-so food' vote.

I just recently went to zombie burger, ordered the undead Elvis which I may say is amazing every time I get it. While eating it at home the meat was raw and the burger tasted funny. I got the stomach flu for 4 days. Vomiting and the runs. Missed 3 days if work and haven't eaten food in 3 days. Very disappointed. Won't be coming again in the near future.

Great foodand the place is a lot of fun to hang out at. Staff is great and the fold comes lightning fast. If you like a great best selection then this is the place. A lot of beer that you can't find in a lot of places are on tap here.
