Kinda disappointed. We waited a long time for server, then for burgers that were over cooked. Atmosphere was fun and beer was cold.

A group of nine met to say farewell to a fellow commissioner and friend in the back room of T-Bock's early (6 pm on a Friday night). That room is quieter for groups; it has seven large booths and one long table for eight to ten--it was full in an hour. The waitress was proficient with the drinks orders and later food orders; in the meantime, we ingested "free" peanuts in the shell, with popcorn being available. The drinks included three "Dorothys," a local beer from Toppling Goliath; two pinot grigios, a shandy, and a lemonade, as well as glasses of ice water. One person ordered an artichoke dip platter with pita and tortilla chips to share--it was delicious. The proprietor, Tom, who with his wife recently won a historic preservation award for restoring the upstairs windows, delivered the orders: a locally-raised (a choice is presented) beef burger with onion rings; a turkey-bacon sandwich and coleslaw; a cheeseburger and fries; a BLT wrap with fries; a hamburger with fried onions; a chicken quesadilla; a turkey sandwich; a patty melt and onion rings, and a fish sandwich. Three of the women took half their meals home; the men polished theirs off and then shared one slice of Butterfinger cheesecake. The turkey-bacon sandwich on sourdough bread was excellent and good the next morning as well! All burgers and wraps come with two sticks of crinkle-edged carrots and pickles; sides cost extra. It made for a pleasant evening--the group lingered a bit.

The atmosphere is brewpub and the walls and ceiling are covered in paraphernalia that reminds you that you are in Decorah, IA. kayaks, bikes, sports team, etc. They offer a great selection of wine and beer on tap. The food was great and the menu extensive.

A great place to meet friends, enjoy lunch or dinner, and to share a drink. A nice diverse menu, although you can't go wrong with their burgers. Fun atmosphere with good service. If they are busy, though, be aware that the grill is small, so food can take awhile.

Stopped by T-Brocks for a burger on the recommendation from the hotel front desk. The place was busy which is a good sign as the food must be great, but saw a "seat yourself" and the chaos began. Once we got a table, the waitress seemed to avoid us. Finally either the busboy or manager came to take our drink order. After a while the waitress finally came to take our order and the last time she came back to our table was to deliver the bill. Thank goodness, the busboy or manager kept our drinks full. Burgers were not anything special, very bland and over cooked for burger was to be juicy & pink in the middle. From the number of small children around us, the place isn't a watering hole to push only beer, so we left questioning how the place is suppose to be that great.
