Well, the service was good. The wine list was not. The cocktails were perfect. The food was sub-par. It makes me nervous when a place serves tartar sauce with almost perfect fish: what does it say about the kitchen's expectations for its clientele when they feel compelled to offer tarter sauce? And, no, that is not just an Iowa thing. The walleye was, however, perfect. The vegetables were fresh and wonderful. Rice was undercooked.

We stopped in on a Friday night, and were able to get a table right away, which was great. The food was very good, and plentiful. I was particularly impressed that the chef made an extra effort for our vegan daughter, and created a lovely dish just for her. We will definitely come again.

The atmosphere is nice; the menu is not varied enough to allow for vegetarians. However...they were wonderful enough to make a special vegetarian dish, and it was awesome!

A very nice place to spend an hour or two. The food is reliable but not adventuresome. A new chef promises more exciting cuisine to come. The "free birthday" meal is a real good marketing tool. The service is real good.
