This restaurant appears from the sidewalk to be more bar than the excellent restaurant it is! The dining room is nicely appointed with interesting art, the experienced staff is able to describe the menu items in detail. The specials are lovely and appropriate portions, the traditional dish my husband selected, Veal Oscar, was really for someone with a extremely hearty appetite. The special beet salad was beautiful, fresh, crisp and perfectly dressed; the filet Mignon was also perfectly prepared, medium rare, and accompanied with green beans that needed to cook just a bit longer; they were too close to raw. The chocolate dessert was divine! Reservations are a must!
