We have been there several times and never had a bad steak. Food is excellent, service great! Not sure how our waitress did it! She was so busy and was on us like that! Always stop in to see the John Wayne impersonator and is always alot of fun. We are out of town and always remember us as we walk in the door. Will be back again and again.

Tappas has been in business forvever but recently dined there for first time. First, if you just saw this place fron the outside you'd be tempted to pass it by. Old place in tough part of town. But once inside, great service, good food, and yes, the has browns as advertised, are the best in town. Ribeye was good and the wife ordered shrimp scampi, excellent. Definately a return trip in order.

It's in a rough neighborhood, but you can't get a better steak in The Q.C.'s. Their steak sandwiches are flat our cheap, yet still tasty. Wish I thought of them more often.

We were looking for a steak dinner that dinner cost too much, wasn't from a chain, and had a casual dress code. Tappas fit the bill. We went early to avoid the rush and were greeted warmly. My husband had the 10 oz filet mignon which he declared delicious. I had the 14 oz ribeye and took a lot home it was a perfect "medium well" and maybe could have been trimmed a bit more before grilling. The steaks are grilled with a smokey flavor and can be paired with sautéed mushrooms and onions. They even have a lobster and filet mignon combination that is reasonably priced.

I recommend the specialty hash browns and don't overlook the cucumber salad - a nice balance of sweet and tart.
