I recently stayed at the Sleep Inn in Davenport for a nearby event. The hotel is convenient to I-74 and a number of dinning and shopping options.
The best thing about this hotel was the size of the room, and especially the large desk area. The room was especially large and had a lot of room to spread out, it was almost like a mini suite. There was an area seperate from the rest of the room that included a small counter, microwave/fridge. The bathroom only had a small shower, so that might be an issue to some guests (this seems to be a common feature at all Sleep Inns).
Interior noise was somewhat of an issue, I could hear the guests across the hallway arguing, and heard most words of what they were saying. Also the hotel is about 10 years old and starting to show a little wear and tear in a few places.
While I didnt use it, the swimming pool looked very small. Also, the continential breakfast was normal hotel fare.
I would stay here again if in the Quad Cities.
One note to guests of this hotel: The State of Iowa is currently reconstructing the I-74/ 53rd Street interchange. This may cause delays and road closures when arriving/departing from this hotel. Be sure to contact the hotel or http://www.iowadot.gov/I74corridor/default.htm regarding updates.
