“The perfect place to leave Bucharest behind for few hours or a day”
Reviewed July 23, 2012

The Mogosoaia Palace is situated outside of Bucharest, in the northern part in a commune named Mogosoaia. The palace is situated on the shore of a lake and is surrounded by a very beautiful green place. The entrance fee in the palace is 5 lei (around 1.3 Euros), but you can't expect for more once you're inside (only some old rugs, books and maps), but the beautiful part of this attraction is on the lake or inside the garden. There is also a restaurant there in case you get hungry.

“A nice place to spend a day outside Bucharest”
Reviewed June 26, 2012

The Palace itself is a very nice piece of history.
You can always find art exhibitions, events and intersting things to see.
The park is very nice with century-old huge trees.
The old church is a must-to-see.
Unfortunately during weekends is very crowded.

“Great expectations”
Reviewed June 17, 2012

I took a day tour of Mogosoaia Palace and the Snagov Monastery - I thought it was not worth what I paid for. This place should not be called a palace as it makes you expect something very beautiful and extravagant. Better name is a plain mansion. Tour guide did not recommend me wasting money to visit the inside as there was nothing much interesting to see. Postcards look better!

Reviewed June 15, 2012

Visited several times- this time was full of flowers, very clean spaces, some- arranged for picnick- and the old palace help me think at the old times.
Must visited if you didnt up to now, you will have no regrets!
