Hotel Saint Laurans
Ranked #1 of 2 Aurignac B&B and Inns

We arrived in Hotel Saint Laurans after a long day in Lourdes. Starving hungry and gone 9pm with no booking. Greeted by Anna who informed us that they were now closed but she said she'd ask if the kitchen could find us something to eat. She reappeared 2 mins later to inform us that we could have some lamb and a glass of wine. We waited with bated berth for the 'lamb'. 20 mins later we were served food that I can only describe as on a par with any of the finest London restaurants I've ever dined in ie Pont de la Tour or The Chop House. Beautifully cooked lamb and delicious vegetables, washed down with some beautiful wine and a pear tart for dessert. The food was amazing, the wine, delicious and the hospitality, superb. A local family run 5* (5* rated by us!) establishment. All I can add is; book a table and taste a wonderful bit of France. One of Aurignacs hidden gems! Parfait!! Merci

We stopped here for lunch and had a good feeling right from the start. The owner is multi lingual, Dutch/English/French, at least those were the languages we heard him use during our meal. The hotel/restaurant is set in the square of a lovely quiet town which was not crawling with tourists. The owner was attentive and efficient. We had the menu du jour for €13 which comprised terrine with salad, followed by wild boar sausage with puny lentils, followed by fresh fruit salad. It was all excellent. We would very much have liked to have stayed the night but we had to press on. In summary, the food was good, the service was good, the place was well cared for and locals use it. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

A Hotel like Saint-Laurans is one of those joys of travelling, a beautiful surprise. Needing an overnight stop on the way from Provence to San Sebastián, we decided to find a Hotel in the small town of Aurignac, in the Haute Garrone region, on the outskirts of the the Pyrenees. The Hotel Saint-Laurans is a small hotel with limited rooms. The room we received was spacious and well fitted out with views over a small valley containing fields including crops and chickens. This added the ambience at dusk and when you woke up in the morning to the sounds of nature.

Eric the proprietor was very welcoming and friendly and gave the place an overall feeling of country hospitality. The breakfast was beautiful, and the coffee the best I have had in France.

Recommendation - have dinner at the Restaurant - excellent.

Had drinks and dinner in the brasserie with friends who live locally and was very impressed with the atmosphere, service and food. Had a lovely Italian themed three course meal for €20 and it was delicious. If you are in there area I would recommend a stop off for a meal at least.

A group of us stayed over on the evening of the town festival and had a fantastic time. We had an al-fresco dinner from the brasserie and were pleasantly surprised with the food, and very satisfied with the service. The staff is friendly and efficient, and the owners are down-to-earth and very accommodating.

All-in-all a great experience and well worth a visit!

Dutch-owned and French-staffed, this hotel has been beautifully renovated, preserving the authentic charm and adding contemporary flair. Excellent cuisine! Very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Location perfect for a Pyrenees holiday, an easy drive from Toulouse airport

Recently renovated. The owners have created a very stylish hotel. The rooms are huge with great views and very comfortable beds. We were two couples and stayed for one night on Monday 24th October but wished we could have stayed longer...the town of Aurignac deserves more time. The food in the restaurant was really good with a tasty wine menu. They also have a brasserie which we were not able to sample. Why stay in the flea pits of Lourdes when you can stay in such comfort a short drive away. I will have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and will look forward to staying there again next time I am in the area.

Room Tip: All the rooms are great.
