had brunch there last Saturday. Prompt service, friendly staff and exceptional food. Most had the chiliquiles, excellent with just a little fire to them.

I love the freshness of the menu and the service is always great. Definitely my favorite Council Bluffs place to eat!

Dixie quicks serves the best breakfast in town. We enjoyed their omelets, french toast and other delights. they have a gallery next door to pass some time while waiting far a table.

this is a great place for lunch and dinner in Council Bluffs - this business moved over here from Omaha where it had and still has quite a following - believe they were featured a few years back on national TV (Diner ,Drive Ins and Dives ) or something similar - they feature a daily menu hand written on chalk board - menu changes every day pending what local produce chef gathers. Prices are very reasonable - restaurant shares space with art gallery that features a different local artist every month - - very unique dining experience

The service was terrible. My wife bought some items from the gift shop, while waiting for more than an hour after the reservation time. They placed the items in a bag and she paid for them. Later: A very rude counter person looked at her later and said "Did you pay for that?", it was one of the worst experiences she has ever had at a restaurant. If you look at my other reviews, I am not hard to please, but this was ridiculous. Waited for a seat and our food (over two hours even though there was a reservation) and were treaded very poorly by the staff. I can understand being busy and having to wait to some extent, but being treated this poorly is unacceptable. My wife and I are honest very hard working people and when some one very blatantly, and rudely accuses her of some type of theft it stings....This place wont last long with this type of behavior from the staff.
