“Nice Hotel”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 15, 2012

Very friendly staff and convenient to the convention center.
I thought it was a little hard to find when coming in from the north on I-29. No signs.
The rooms are large and comfy and my shower was great. I love a shower with good water pressure.

Room Tip: I would suggest a room on the side not facing the casino. Casion is VERY close and the bright light...

It as a nice hotel. Staff was very friendly my room was clean.
It is connected to the convention center so that was a plus.
There was plenty of parking.
I will say that is was sort of hard to find with no signs for us driving in from the north.

Room Tip: I would suggest asking for a room on the side not facing the casion. I had bright lights all night...

Stayed here as a rest stop on our way home from vacation. Staff is very friendly, breakfast has some hot items and the Horseshoe Casino is next door for fun and food options. Rooms were fineand the beds were comfortable. My only criticism was with the heating/cooling unit. We changes the fan setting from auto to lo so as to keep it running consistently; however it would run for 2 min and then shut off for 10-20 min. Without the steady white noise, it was extremely difficult for me to sleep

This motel was very clean, the beds were comfortable, there was both a fridge and microwave in the room, the hot tub was big and hot, the staff was nice, and there was a vending and pop machine both on the main floor and on the 3rd floor where our room was. The only complaint I have is there is no way to have a fan on all the time as I cannot sleep without having "white noise". My daughter and I enjoyed an in-room movie and although it was expensive ($14.99!!), I figured it was about the same as seeing it in the theater without having to pay for snacks! One recommendation I have is make sure you drive around to the front of the building so you don't look like fools like we must have driving back and forth looking for the entrance and realizing we weren't in front! ha We are members of their rewards club and were able to stay here for only 9,000 points, which is unheard of with the other properties. I will definitely stay here again if I am in the area. Oh, and this is directly across the street from the Horseshoe Casino. My daughter isn't of age, so I have no idea what that is like.

Room Tip: We had a room on the top floor and away from the elevators and ice machines. It was a long walk, but...

New, clean facility. I've been very impressed with the Carlson family of hotels lately. Room had a microwave and a refrigerator. Front desk staff was very friendly as were the cleaning staff. Other than that it is attached to a convention center, the location is uninivting - basically a wide-open space with a casino and a few chain restaurants scattered around. Convenient to downtown Omaha, though.

Stayed there on a busy Friday night, but staff was great! The rooms are nice and very clean. They have flat screen T.V.'s. The very full breakfast was everything you could want. We will be back! It was nice to to be able to just walk next door to the Horseshoe.

We booked a "studio suite" which was also handicapped designed. It proved to be a very spacious room. A large single area, with a king sized bed, dresser, desk night table in one end and a sofa, easy chair and table housing the refrigerator and microwave on the other end. I really liked the huge shower in the bathroom. Desk service was prompt and helpful, especially when we needed something to solve a minor plumbing problem (not caused by the hotel).

Breakfast received an "A" for variety and choice, but a "C" for quality. Scrambled eggs had water in them and potatoes were mushy. Oh, we'll, the price for breakfast was right, anyway.

All in all, we had a good stay and will continue to do business with this hotel chain.

Room Tip: The suites are a good value if you need room, but their regular rooms are pretty specious if you are...
