We got a deal on Priceline and were very happy with the Microtel. Comfortable bed, clean bathroom, big screen TV. We left early, but she was already setting up breakfast, so we got to eat first. The breakfast bar was typical motel fare, but a lot of variety. My husband liked the biscuits and gravy.
the people were very friendly and helpful. I will stay again
the room was great. the food tasted good I liked the biscuts ans gravy the best
My first stay at Microtel was in July, 2012 which was a very pleasant stay in one of their suites---no complaints. This time around we stayed in a room with two queen beds on the second floor. The room was very clean, no complaints however, the next morning got ready to make coffee and couldn't find the coffee maker. Called the desk & was told this room didnt have one. They didnt offer to get me one. Give me a break...never stayed in a hotel/motel that didn't have some type of coffee maker. So if you are a coffee drinker that likes your coffee in your room before you go out, be sure to request one to be in your room.
It makes it rough to go up & down on an elevator trying to carry two cups of coffee while trying to wake up.
This inn is a very clean place to stay, so come on people, put coffee makers in all your rooms!
Thank you for your Trip Advisor review. I appreciate the comments of our guests.
I am sorry that you were disappointed to not have a coffee maker in your room. Being an economy hotel, we only offer coffee makers in our Queen Suites. I am sorry for the inconvenience and hope that you will be our guest again the next time you are in the Council Bluffs area.
