After a long day driving it was a pleasure to check in at the Hampton Inn, and be able to go to a restaurant and sit down and be able to walk back to our room. We were able to unwind while waiting for our meal, before it was time to lay down and go to bed. What

While travelling through Iowa City last week I needed a place to stop for the night around 1:30am. Stopped into the Hampton Inn and go exactly what I have expected from them. Fast Internet, a good clean bed, warm shower and Breakfast.

It's easily accessible to the Highway and the rates at par with the other Hotels in the area. The team in the Hotel take good care of it and all the facilities were clean and up to par.

The Coffe was also above Par which makes for a great morning. I would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Even though it's down, the first floor is nice and quiet. Especially on the North side of the Hotel.

Was extremely pleased and surprised with our stay at the Hampton Inn. It's probably one of the best Hampton Inns that I have ever stayed at. We normally frequent other chains, but we were traveling with a group and wanted to stay together so we took a chance. We were not disappointed. The accommodations were top notch and very clean and quiet. The furnishings in our room were new. Granite counter tops and a surprising big room. Location was great and right off the interstate. Not too far from University (but not walking distance). We enjoyed the attached restaurant bar. The bartender was very friendly, and service was fast. Breakfast the next morning was great. Eggs and Ham, yogurt, bagels and the like. Would not hesitate to stay at a Hampton Inn again. My opinion of this chain is changing. Great job,

Right off I-80 near the I-380 interchange, this Hampton Inn is an easy stop when traveling. It is one exit away from the Coral Ridge Mall. My room was clean and quiet. The furnishings were neither brand new nor worn out. The included breakfast was reasonable, standard hotel breakfast. The indoor pool and hot tub was wonderfully quiet during my morning swim. The staff was friendly and efficient.

The Hilton Honors program is one of the four hotel loyalty programs of which I am a member. As my wife and I were going to the illinois-iowa basletball game, and wouldn't be spending much time in a hotel, I quickly reviewed the Iowa City hotels. Seeing it was an easy distance from Carver Arena, and the price wasn't bad, we decided to stay here. This is clearly an older Hampton property. However, there was ample parking, and an attached Beefstro Restaurant, which we did not have time to visit. Other restaurants are within easy driving distance. The property is right off the expressway, Exit 240, and placed far enough back from the street so the rooms are quiet. Our room, #230, had a clothes amour and no closet. The bathroom was smaller than other Hamptons we have stayed in. However, and most important to us, the beds were firm, and we slept well. The breakfast was standard Hampton, but there was only a small dining area which incorporated what would probably be considered the lobby sitting area. The staff was quite friendly and accommodating, making sure we had our snacks and bottles of water. All in all, it was a pleasant experience and we would stay here again.

Room Tip: Rooms in the back of this property face the back of another hotel about 50 yards away and will be the most quiet, in my opinion.
