I was very happy with hotel. I thought the rooms were better than other standard hotel rooms; they were more spacious too. The pool was the best part! It has a curly slide that the kids absolutely loved, much much better than other standard hotel pools. The breakfast was good and ran until 10 on the weekend. They actually let it run a little longer since there was still several people coming in to eat. My only complaint was that the staff was rude upon arrival but I don't really care about that with as nice as the hotel was. I have paid the same price for rooms that were far less nice, and I will definitely stay there again!

Pulled in just after 9:00pm hungry, tired and on the last leg home from a 5000+ mile loop across the USA. Wonderful front desk staff was efficient, intelligent, and helpful. Check in was quick and our room was perfect. Too tired to think about going out for food, we called the front desk to ask if the Pizza Hut across the street delivered. We were assured it did so regularly - they did not disappoint. I wish we had not been too tired to enjoy the pool - it looked inviting and fun.

Comfortable room with convenient amenities, this could be a great lace to stay if you had to be in the area for more than one night.

My daughter's 11th birthday party, had adjoining rooms, 7 girls, time to retire for the night started seeing little black bugs in the bedding . Front desk did move girls in that room to different room. When voiced my concern to front desk, snotty young girl playing with her hair, snapping her gum suggested that we brought them in with us. WTH... Management not in till 1200. OK check out at 1100 why would management not be there for questions or concerns? Thought it was also strange when we got up that morning they already had the room sealed off and machines running. Did they also do the room the girls had been moved into ? And why would they have the equipment to get rid of the bugs if it wasn't an issue with them. Will never stay there again. Yuck

We stayed here for a late family Christmas weekend. We enjoyed our basic king room layout with a couch, chair and coffee table. The bed was ok, nothing special. Previous reviewers indicated noise at this hotel, and that would be correct. There were many loud children and at one point, we could hear conversation from the next room. A weeknight stay would probably be less noisy. I suggest requesting a room on the top floor and on the south side. The north side is right by a railroad track, and trains pass through somewhat regularly. The heater in the room was somewhat loud for sleeping, a problem we have run into more and more lately. A few positives: very clean, close parking, extra large vanity in the bathroom, nice shower head, and a really nice outlet/usb charging station on the desk. We also enjoyed the continental breakfast a lot. Everything was fresh, including fruit, waffles, and scrambled eggs. However, one morning, we were eating right at the end of the serving hours and were somewhat rudely made aware of the time. Other than some noise, not a bad place. Might return sometime if we need a nice and inexpensive suite.

We checked in late and got the last room. The room was on the ground floor and smelled of mildew as soon as we walked in. The room had a damp and musty feel to it. Even after running the A/C for awhile it did not improve. The manager gave us a considerable discount, so in the end we did not feel taken advantage of. Based on the other reviews, this may have been an isolated incident. To be safe, stay off the ground floor and request that the room be ventilated before arrival.

The room was clean and spacious, and the bed was just right; I slept very well. There were a couple of trains that passed during the night and they do blow their horns because the hotel is near a crossing. The main reason I stayed here was to try the pool and the slide - and these did not disappoint! What I noticed missing was a shower facility for the pool. There was only a restroom in the pool area. The Exercise Room had a treadmill, bike, and elliptical, but I wish they had either free weights or a weight machine. Breakfast was standard. Lobby has a fireplace and is nicely decorated for Christmas. All the staff I encountered were friendly and professional. Will stay again if I have the chance to!

Room Tip: As others have mentioned, if you do not like train horns especially at night, ask for a room at the...

While the carpet, beds, linens are all in good shape the furniture and fixtures in our room are banged up. Outside looks at the end doors don't work.

Hotel gets a lot of traffic on the weekends from families due to the nice water slide and large pool. Unfortunately, the hotel isn't concrete so you hear a fair bit of kid noise from the other rooms - including overhead. Ask for a room on the top floor.

Breakfast was good - best quality yogurt, eggs and salsa, your usual biscuits/gravy, huge muffins and danish.

Bath has an old style toilet the size of a 5 gallon pail but a large counter top. Good shower.

Again, it was very clean and the carpets are newish looking.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the top floor to reduce kid noise on the weekends.
