“a must for fans of old drug stores and tractors”

Floyd County Historical Society Museum
Attraction details
Reviewed July 14, 2013

There's an extensive collection of old Hart-Parr and Oliver tractors, so this museum is probably well known to tractor fans. There's also a really large exhibit formed from the interior of an old drug store, with counters going on for probably 100 feet on both sides, displaying a huge variety of old stock, including a lot of offbeat stuff--that was worth the visit alone. There's also an old lab from a firm that made veterinary drugs. Plus the usual bits and pieces of quirky miscellaneous old stuff, from arrowheads to corn planters, that you tend to find in small-town museums.
Don't be misled by the picture--the building is actually a solid 1930's former factory with a modern addition that houses most of the tractors.
