This hotel is in excellent condition, but that doesn't matter when you don't get the room you reserved. Or, more to the point, where they don't actually have any of the type of room you reserved.
On the Marriott website, it clearly states and offers for reservation "One bedroom, two room suites". It uses the same language to describe the rooms as is used to describe real two-room suites at the Residence Inn in town. However, this hotel doesn't have two-room suites. It just has larger typical hotel rooms. There is nothing in the room description details to indicate their "two room suites" are really just two "areas" - a living room area and bedroom area with no separation. They also fail to mention that their rooms do not feature bathtubs - showers only.
So, be warned - this hotel engages in false advertising and does not deliver the rooms it advertises on its own website.

Dear Valued Guest,

Thank you for your input it is greatly appreciated. As we strive continuously to ensure every guest expectations are fulfilled. We have taken action to update our Suite room description to read as follows: "1 Bedroom Excecutive Suite".

All our rooms with two Queen Beds feature bathtubs. Some of our handicapped accessible rooms/suites also have bathtubs the remainder of them have stand up showers.

Again, thank you for helping us to accurately communicate to our future guest what we offer.

Thank you,
Gloria Smith
General Manager

The two girls at the check in desk were great!! Came in from another hotel in the area and they gave us a great rate and were very helpful. The hotel was just built so was very clean and updates. Breakfast was great and loved that our room had a mini fridge and microwave.

The hotel was extremely good value. It was modern and clean and the staff were very welcoming. The breakfast was good and offered a much better selection of food that we were expecting. We would certainly recommend this hotel which was also very conveniently situated.

Stayed here recently on an overnight trip to CR. It's not luxurious, but the property is almost brand new and everything is very clean. Breakfast had some hot items (eggs and sausage), which was nice as most Fairfield inns offer cold or prepackaged items only. Breakfast hostess was very friendly and helpful. Room had a microwave and fridge--didn't use on this visit, but they are nice to have. Only negative was that the room had only a small wardrobe for hanging clothes--not an issue on a 1 night stay, but could be a problem if you're there for longer.

This hotel was not my first choice, but I was pleasantly surprised. The decor is very current, quite modern. The service was very friendly. The room was spacious and clean, the bed comfy. My only critique would be the teeny tiny gym and pool. Otherwise, it was a great place. Breakfast was also good.
