Very helpful and friendly staff! Very clean hotel you can surely tell it is clean and that the staff love their jobs! There are also two big fire pits on the outside patio right off the front desk which is a great spot for relaxing!

I wont stay here in the future. If we had eaten breakfast there our cost for a one night stay would have been over $185. Similar hotels which include a breakfast option typically cost about $125/night. However, the staff did not make this clear when we booked. We learned a lesson!

In Cedar Falls for a family get-together and we all stayed at the Hilton. Great facility to suit our needs. Plenty of space for gathering - loved the outside seating and fire-pit areas - and visiting while having a drink or meal. Easy access to get anywhere around Cedar Falls/Waterloo. Staff was pleasant, professional and always accommodating for our needs. Would stay here again when in the area.

The room was clean, attractive and spacious. The food was excellent -- try the truffle fries and the shrimp and grits. The service was attentive without being overbearing. We were able to reserve a large table to meet friends for breakfast as well. I'd definitely book here again.

New and clean is only topped by a great lay out and design as well as friendly staff and the best food of any Hotel at this price point, and better than some fine dining places accross the region. Hilton rewards members will love having this as an option when traveling to the area.

I generally choose to stay at Hilton Hotels when possible and am a Hilton Honors member. However, while this hotel is very new and visually appealing, there were some aspects that were not up to par. First, the air conditioning unit in the rooms are poorly designed, very noisy, and blow directly on the queen bed nearest it. All night long it would cycle on and off quite loudly, waking me up each time. Additionally, there was no way to direct the air away from the bed nearest the unit, so it shot cold air out directly at me all night long. Consequently, I did not get a restful sleep. Also, the soundproofing is poor for a brand new hotel. We were on the 3rd floor and could clearly hear the person above us walking back and forth across our ceiling very early in the morning. Finally, the cleaning was questionable. Even though all four glasses in our room had the white paper covers on them indicating they were "clean", I was hesitant to use one until I washed it myself as they all appeared dirty. Also, the beds are open underneath, and when I bent down to retrieve something I had dropped, I noticed under the bed were several M&Ms, a bobby pin, and a button. Clearly nobody is cleaning under the beds, making me wonder what else isn't really very clean.
The workers here were friendly, the decor of the hotel is lovely and new, but overall, this just wasn't worth the price. Not sure if I'd stay here again.

Room Tip: Stay on the top floor if you don't want to hear people walking across your ceiling.

Nice hotel but overpriced. I would stay here again if I could get a more competitive price.
There are other good hotels in the area that are much more reasonably priced.

We had a king junior suite.
The bathroom is between the living room area and the bedroom area.
The bedroom area does not have a door. The living room had a decent
sofabed, and there was still plenty of room to walk around if the
sofabed was pulled out. The table/desk in the living room is positioned
so that if you use it you are facing the wall, which is uncomfortable
if you want to use a computer while talking to someone or watching TV.
The bed is comfortable and had plenty of pillows. The room A/C worked very well.

There was not enough useful electrical outlets for charging devices.
I ended up unplugging the microwave and coffee pot so we could use those outlets.

There is parking available all around the hotel,
but the front area is much larger and more well lit.

There are two elevators located in the center of the hotel. (They are somewhat noisy.)
There are stairs at each end of the hall. The stairwells are carpeted and lit by lights
that are on a sensor and light up as you walk down.

My biggest annoyance is that both the pool and fitness center close at 10pm every day!
We arrived on a friday and went to the pool. There were 6 kids in it but our door key
would not open the door, and the kids would not open it. I asked at the front desk if we
could use the pool and was told it was closed. I asked why there were other guests were
allowed if it was closed. He seemed shocked that someone was in pool. There is clearly
demand for pool and fitness room usage after 10pm. Both should be open until 11pm or midnight on friday and saturday.
The pool itself is small to average size for a hotel, but the hot tub is quite large.
Both were kept are a reasonable temperature.

There are three raised gas firepits in front patio area along with
some nice cushioned wicker furniture. This is a nice touch and
a definite selling point for the hotel as long as it is maintained.
The hotel is new so everything was in great condition.

Breakfast is not included with your room.
There is a buffet breakfast available ($10/adult, $6/child)
It's a good breakfast, but not worth $10.

The bar area is nice, open late, reasonably well stocked,
and the bartender was quick and friendly.

The lobby had both lemon water and coffee, and was well stocked each time I was in the lobby.
There is a room they call a library off of the lobby. It has a few couches and chairs and doors
that can be closed off. Apparently you can reserve it, as one day while I was there, there was
a reserved sign on the door. It would be useful for a small gathering or business meeting.

If you don't want to use the restaurant there isn't anything nearby. There is a gas station
in walking distance, and some restaurants about a mile to the north (by a Target store.)

Room Tip: 2nd floor near the stairs. The elevators are noisy. The first floor is noisy. 2nd floor gets you a...
