This place has been around forever and the outside of the building looks it. But don't let that fool you into missing a real treat inside. It is a very small counter with stools and you get to watch them make your food right in front of you. The menu selections are varied with breakfast items and lunch fare - omlettes, burgers, tendetloins, fries etc. As well as daily specials. And homemade desserts. The food is very, very good and decent portions. I went with my 14 year old daughter this weekend on our way through town. I was telling her about going there over lunch when I worked near there during high school over 30 years ago and she wanted to give it a try. She was skeptical when I turned into the lot, but ended up loving the experience and the food. She wants to go back and try other things on the menu. I was very pleased with the food, the service and the memories.

If you drive past to fast you will sure miss this place. This was a awesome "old school" diner. The service was wonderful, the food was good, the specials were over perfect for the middle of October. I can see how the locals can get caught in doing morning coffee daily. The two ladies that work there were out of this world, the conversation with the patrons were awesome, it was like eating at home at the table. I would say someone needs to get ahold of Triple D and bring Guy into Burlington and show the world what a gem Burlington has!

I travel a lot and look for local. Found this hole in the wall. They only have limited bar stools as it not large enough for a table. The two women that work there really put on a show. And best part they knocked the food out of the park. Hope I get to back soon.

Found it on TA. It truly is a diner dive, but the tenderloin is awesome! The service is excellent, and 3 of us ate for $23. Bar only seating, no tables. If you like a good dive diner... This one is EXCELLENT!

This is how old Jerry's Main Lunch is. Back in the 50's they sold 5 hamburgers for $1.00 and stayed open 24 hours a day. Once they needed to close and no once could find a key for the door.

This is a typical "greasy spoon" type of place with great food. You can watch the cook fix your meal in front of you and enjoy all of the wise cracks between her and the customers. Fun place.

They make amazing goulash on Tuesdays that can't be missed. Unless you are into huge meals, order 1/2 a mess because you won't be able to eat it all. I actually craved Jerry's Chili when I was pregnant in 1964. Had to have it in the middle of the night. Got it too.

They don't stay open late anymore, but I remember some interesting conversations after the bars closed back in the day.
