“One of my favorite parts of Burlington!”
Reviewed June 11, 2013

I drove down it three times and had a blast. Also enjoyed some of the pretty flowers. Very cool and unique. If you visit Burlington, you MUST go to Snake Alley!

“What a surprise”
Reviewed May 29, 2013

Better than Lombard Street. Did not know there was the crookedest street somewhere other than SF. We loved driving on Snake Alley.

“Scenic and Nostalgic”
Reviewed April 23, 2013

Burlington is a city built on hills and in the 1800s, Snake Alley was constructed with all its twists to allow horse-drawn wagons and carriages to negotiate the steep climb. The adjoining homes and buildings have been renovated, but still have the look of 1840. There is no fee and it makes for an interesting visit near the downtown area.

“Quick visit to Snake Alley”
Reviewed April 15, 2013

In older downtown area. Interesting stop and took the few minutes to walk up and back down. Nothing much else going on in downtown Burlington.

“closed due to Icy slope?”
Reviewed March 6, 2013

I marvelled at it however, it was rather disappointing due to the closure on account of the snow and icy conditions. But the churches and quaint streets in the neighbourhood made up the fact of not being able to slide down the alley
