We stayed here for one night. We were in town to meet a few friends for the evening and rather than driving 2+ hours back home, we figured it would be easier to stay in town. Not much else for choices right in Bellevue, so we got a room here.

We were in for a no frills deal, so we found non-refundable rate with taxes for just under $70 for the night. A good price in my book.

Our room was on the 3rd floor, and had an amazing view of... the parking lot. As I said, it was a no frills trip so we didn't pony up to have a river view. As we were only sleeping there, I didn't really care about the view. Upon arrival to the room, it was very clear that the climate system had been off - it was 60 degrees in our room. I turned up the heat in the room to 68, and within about 20 minutes, the room was up to temp. I would expect that they would have anticipated a guest being there and had a reasonable temp. in the room before arrival. This was not just an isolated case... two other couples that stayed for the same night had the same problem, but in their cases, it took a lot longer for the room to come up to a 68 or 70 degree temp. Once the temps were up, though, the room was fine.

The room was spacious with a king sized bed. We ended up also getting a handicapped accessible room, so the shower was a walk in, and the bathroom was very large. The décor was nice, simple, but a bit on the modern side. As far as noise... be assured that due to the pre-cast concrete construction, you will hear nothing of your neighbors. The bed was comfy, but not overly. Pillows provided were small for the bed (they looked a bit like half pillows or something that you'd find on a kids twin bed vs. king sized pillows that would have fit the bed. Aside from our temp issues, and pillows, I was happy with the room.

TV ok... Direct TV with the standard fare of channels... we only flipped it on to watch something while we were waiting for others to get read. TV was fine, and audio was also ok. There was a single cup Kurig maker in the room that worked fine. They had a selection of coffee, tea, and hot chocolate - a nice touch. WiFi was included, but no security at all on it... just connect and go. In this day and age I would have suspected some sort of password or something tied to your room, but nothing...

The breakfast was not great, but I'm not going to complain about it considering the cheap room. It was a hot breakfast with eggs (odd scrambled eggs that resembled little pebbles), bacon, sausage, beef gravy for biscuits, and also waffle mix and a waffle iron. There were some cold cereals, juice, coffee, and yogurt also available. Not the best hot breakfast I've had, but again, cheap room, so I won't complain.

Overall, a nice place to stay. Easy to get to, and attached (sort of) to the Off Shore restaurant which has some very good food (if you aren't in a hurry). If you're looking for a good night's sleep in a nice room, have no fear here. While we didn't take advantage of it, they also have an indoor pool area, so if you've got kids, they've got you covered.

Room tip: River views are awesome if you want to pay extra. Opt for a room that is not on the first (basement) floor.

Great hotel, friendly attentive staff. River side rooms have view of sunrise over the Mississippi River, beautiful even in the winter. Rooms have private porch. Enclosed heated walkway to bar/restaurant, boat docks, and deck tables for summer. Big camping area near by. Big area for fishing or kick back in a small little home town retreat on the river. Winter is good time to see eagle migration near lock & dams. Check local events for eagle festivals (Jan/Feb).

Thank you for the great review! We have an amazing view of the river and have walkaways between the hotel, restaurant and event centre which come in handy during the winter months. Come back and stay with us again!

Nice place on the river! Clean! Plenty of parking and good restaurant (as far as atmosphere - food was okay but not great). However, price for the room was a little strong but limited choices in town!

We traveled to Bellevue to see relatives. The check-in was smooth with friendly staff. The hotel was filled because of a high school football playoff game. Attached to the hotel was a bar & grill. The drinks were ok. The room was great. Clean and quiet. The breakfast was great with a variety of food and hot. Great eating environment. The checkout was smooth.

Room tip: Try to get a riverside room. Great eating places in downtown Bellevue.

My wife and I sayed here for the first time November 02/2018 for 2 nights.
Nice place, but it was the staff that were the stars of this show.
Oliva in the manager, and her Mother Carla met us at the front desk, and then there was Dawn, one of the night people at the front desk, she just made me smile, just talking to her, and Bryon ( he works the late shift )...What a nice young man.

and the ( often over looked ) cleaning lady ( Julie )...She was super and always willing to assist.

I have my own service company ( for 35 years ) and these people shine when it comes to service.

Many thanks from BigPapa and little Momma...I look forward to staying here again when we are up your way.

Room tip: Get the water view.
