Description: Nine Irish Brothers is an award-winning traditional Irish pub--recently named the Best Irish Pub in the State of Indiana by Yelp and Buzzfeed--with two convenient locations in Greater Lafayette, Indiana, and a third location in the heart of Massachusetts Avenue in Indianapolis. Our family-owned-and-operated restaurant serves premium Irish food and spirits and has a full bar and menu, with items ranging from salads to steak to Irish favorites such as Guinness Stew, Shepherd's Pie, and Fish & Chips. Well-behaved patrons of all ages are welcome from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., unless circumstances prohibit minors (e.g. large, rowdy bands). Nine Irish Brothers is proud to be smoke-free. We also feature live Irish entertainment on most weekend nights. We take reservations for parties of six or more people.

“Great Irish Pub”
Reviewed March 5, 2013

We ate there on a Saturday night. It is a great Irish pub with tons of atmosphere - very cozy. The food is typical Irish - very heavy and very, very plentiful. They have a great selection of Irish Whiskey. The only down side when we went was that it was a Saturday night, there was a live band and it was very, very loud - think rock concert loud. Not the band, mind you, but the crowd. I think this would be a fabulous place earlier in the evening or during the week, but make sure you take ear plugs if you go on the weekend. We will definitely return.

“One of my favorite places to go”
Reviewed February 23, 2013

Nine Irish is one of my favorite restaurants in Lafayette/West Lafayette. The food and service are great. I highly recommend the lobster bisque, Dublin salad, fish and chips, the salmon burger, the pub chips, and basically everything on the menu.

“Great Pub Grub”
Reviewed January 22, 2013 via mobile

Just like their other location, my business colleagues and I enjoyed tasty meals and perfectly mixed drinks, whisky's, and pints of Guinness while watching the BCS Championship during our recent visit to Purdue University. O'Bryans has a way of making you feel welcome, as the staff at this pub is attentive, efficient and quite amiable. We were all in agreement that we will continue to visit during our annual pilgrimage every January!

“Great atmosphere”
Reviewed January 17, 2013

Love the outdoor seating. Even in winter, with the heat lamps, it is very comfortable and can accommodate a very large group. Fun with friends! Love the half order of fish and chips! Good campus location. Difficult for parking though. Can get very loud inside on weekends.

“Just ok”
Reviewed December 14, 2012

It is a fun atmosphere if you like a lot of noise and a touch of Ireland. I had fish and chips and the fish was overcooked and crispy.. no flaky fish left. This was disappointing in an Irish restaurant. The place was very busy and seemed to lose quality during this days lunch hour. Service was very good.
