Cafe Literato has some of the best salads in town and good sandwiches as well. Their chipotle ranch dressing is great.

This is next to a community/faith center just a few minutes from Purdue campus. Order at the counter, take a seat and it’s out in minutes. The chicken salad sandwich and mac n cheese side, were very good. The Greek salad was huge and shared by the table. My wife had the Gluten Free pizza and thought it was good with crisp crust. Nice lunch stop.

I had a salad - it was fresh, large, and the cherry vinaigrette dressing was tremendous. Great "buzz" in this place, but neither too busy nor too loud. Easy to carry on a conversation. Highly recommended.

I eat here quite often never disappointed. Good food and reasonable. Love the homemade Greek dressing.

Usually a "coffee shop" is known for its coffee and has some average to really good food products. Café Literato is the opposite. The coffee is "meh," (the drip is acceptable, but the espresso is lacking...probably that super-auto machine and average quality pre-packaged coffee is to blame). The food and treats there are really quite good however. Their thin-crust, stone oven baked pizza is some of the best in town and is highly recommended!
