While driving through the area, the appearance of this restaurant caught our eye so we decided to stop and check it out. Very glad we did. It was mid afternoon on a Sunday and when I inquired about having fried chicken, the server informed us that it is only available on Sunday but they were sold out shortly before we arrived. I opted for the half pound chopped steak smothered in onions, mushrooms, and gravy along with home-made mashed potatoes and green beans. My wife had the roasted beef, mashed potatoes, and baked apples. Fresh baked rolls were included. Both meals were delicious and reasonably priced. Our server could not have been more attentive and friendly. The breaded pork tenderloin and chicken tenders that we saw being server to others were huge portions and looked terrific. Our only regret is that we live so far away and unable to just stop in for another meal. However, we will return when we are back in that part of Indiana.
