I am planning to live in Valparaiso and certainly would cheer for any local, good restaurants. Bon Femme has a small town feel serving enlightened and well travelled clientele.
While service is friendly it lacks polish and attention to details, pricing is reasonable and the ambiance is quaint. All is OK until menu concept and its execution. Bon Femme is no more French than I am Turkish. Few items remind you and makes you hopeful that there will be some European authenticity but unfortunately they come short. There are some very simple and honest Provencale items that would be so easy to execute and differentiate the restaurant from others in the town center.
