My husband and I had a wonderful meal here. He had a steak with the lobster mac and both were very good, he always uses steak sauce but there was no need here. I had the chicken parmesan special it also was very good. We had to sit in the bar bc there wasn't a table available in the main dining area but, as it turned out that was the best place to sit. It was quiet and only a few other people were sitting in there. This is a great place to eat but, be prepared to pay $100+. Athough, a little expensive it is worth every penny.

The appetizers were outstanding. But why pay so much for a steak that, well, is just a steak. It's not like the restaurant is having to pay a lot for the location nor did the owners invest in spectacular decor, so why does the customer have to pay as much as he/she would in DC or NYC?

My T-bone steak was the most tender flavorful cut of meat I've had in a very long time! I was so pleasantly suprised by this place I just can't say enough. This is not the kind of place you expect to find in Terre Haute, Indiana (no insult meant to this fair city), having experienced some fine establishments/ steakhouses in Chicago I wasn't expecting much. The service is great, freindly and in the know. Drinks well made, salads fresh, the blue cheese wedge is very tasty! Over all a great experience, a real gem in an unsuspecting place.

This restaurant is totally non-descript from the outside and on a main strip ,busy road with little of interest (read ugly). We went in and were similarly underwhelmed by the decor, but once the waiter arrives and starts to describe the specials, it's clear this is no run-of-the-mill franchise-type joint. The waiter gave a full description of the chef's creative endeavors and they were all interesting and inventive. The salads we ordered to start - mine was devine and included walnuts, Indiana beets and bleu cheese - were delightfully presented. The main courses - there were 3 specials in addition to the regular menu - all sounded very good and we opted for a steak filet and the veal Parmesan and both were excellent. The service was impeccable. Highly recommend even though it doesn't look great from the exterior.
