“Winery and Much More”
Reviewed September 27, 2013

Every time I go to this winery, I am reminded of the bounty of the earth. They not only have a wonderful winery (also distillery) but have a cheese/ice cream shop, market (fresh baked goods, veggies and fruits; jams, etc), outdoor area for entertainment, ponds, petting zoo and the fabulous restaurant that serves home-style country food.

“Suspend your California and French wine bias”
Reviewed September 18, 2013

Extremely amenable and knowlegable serving staff. The older Heritage and Cabernets measure up with any of the French and Napa reds of comparable price points. the white and spiced fruit wines are ideal for novice drinkers and as I didn't get around to trying them, I have no doubt they are suitably produced. A very delightful surprise in southern Indiana

“Best strawberries and vino!”
Reviewed September 7, 2013 via mobile

I've been at Huber's on several occasions and the one day trip just doesn't seem like enough time to do everything Huber's has to offer! Picking your own fruit is such a fun experience and the prices are reasonable. The Huber's family restaurant has fried biscuits and apple butter. The price for a meal is a bit too expensive however. Huber's wine is some of the best the Midwest has to offer. We always purchase May wine when it's available, they usually have very limited supplies. The Catawba is fantastic, my favorite wine from this grape ever :-) make sure you grab Some fresh made ice cream (the pumpkin tastes like pumpkin pie) and go to one of the 2 koy fish ponds with some quarters and feed the HUGE koy and catfish. Love trying all the samples in the market too. Huber's is definitely worth a trip!

“Excellent place for family or couples”
Reviewed September 2, 2013

We have went here several times & never a bad experience. The wine is always good not to mention a huge selection! The food is always outstanding, I love the chicken salad. Very kid friendly, something to do for the whole family. The only negative is it is the first place I have been where you have to pay to taste test.

“This is a nice place, but make no mistake, it is a bit pricey.”
Reviewed August 12, 2013

First, the restaurant is somewhat reasonable as far as prices. They look hefty but generally speaking, the food is very good. Other wise there are a few things to look at for no extra charge but the kids farm is extra. the little barn is extra, feeding the fish is extra and so forth. You get the drift. It is a nice place to visit with kids but can cost more than you might expect. The gift shops are a little high on every thing from flavored popcorn to Huber's Brandy. Their brandy may be the best in the world but at $59.00 I won't be finding out. There is no fee to get there and park but there are a few charges here and there.
